SSL 360° software takes hybrid music and audio production to the next level. SSL 360° is a cross-platform Mac and Windows application that forms the ‘brains’ of all your SSL 360°-enabled software and hardware in one convenient place. SSL 360° is constantly evolving as new products and new features are added, bringing our renowned advanced workflow experience to your desktop.
The SSL 360° Plug-in Mixer provides a single place to view and control all of your 360°-enabled plug-ins. You can access it via SSL 360° for free, even without hardware attached.
When you insert a 360°-enabled channel strip in your DAW session it gets automatically added into the Plug-in Mixer and likewise, the same happens with the Bus Compressor and Meter. If you remove the plug-ins from your session, they are also removed from the Plug-in Mixer automatically.
If you want to create a truly physical console experience, then you can use UC1, UF1 and UF8 to control the Plug-in Mixer directly.

Deep integration with the SSL Meter Pro and Meter plug-ins is what really sets UF1 apart, with the plug-in GUIs visualised on the glorious 4.3” IPS display. UF1 can be used standalone, or it can be partnered with UC1 and UF8 for the ultimate SSL console experience.
UC1 is a hardware plug-in controller like no other. Dedicated knob-per-function Channel EQ and Dynamics controls, centre section featuring full Bus Compressor controls and authentic moving-coil gain reduction meter combine to offer the most creative, intuitive, and ultimately effective way of controlling 360°-enabled channel strip and Bus Compressor plug-ins within your DAW session.
Be in control of the session with your DAW’s Transport functions accessible from the top of the Plug-in Mixer, or directly from UF8/UF1/UC1 hardware.
Simultaneously connect to up to 3 different DAWs in the Plug-in Mixer and UF8/UF1 then switch between them easily.
You can control the Plug-in Mixer from UC1, UF8 and UF1 (by setting UF8 & UF1 to ‘Plug-in Mixer’ in SSL 360°) for a true console experience.
UF8 and UF1 work with all major DAWs and come with workflow-ready templates for Ableton® Live™, Cubase™/Nuendo™, Pro Tools®, Logic Pro®, Studio One®, LUNA™, Pyramix™, Mixbus™, REAPER™, Bitwig®, Digital Performer®, FL Studio® and Samplitude/Sequoia™. UF8 and UF1 also have the ability to control the SSL 360° Plug-in Mixer Layer. Many producers and engineers prefer to split their creative process across multiple DAWs. UF8 and UF1 are uniquely flexible and promote SSL's Open DAW Policy - Control 3 different DAWs simultaneously and keep your production and mixdown process agile.
UF8 & UF1 feature a customisable MIDI CC Layer for controlling synthesisers, sample libraries and external processing units such as modular synths and reverbs.

SSL 360° hosts the software mixers for SSL 12 and SSL 18, where you can set up low-latency headphone mixes, choose your Loopback source and customise the user-assignable front panel buttons via the powerful but intuitive console-style mixer on-screen.
SSL 12 and SSL 18 provide an intuitive, virtual console-style mixer for dialling in headphone mixes. With independent pan, level and mute controls available for each send, the SSL 12 and 18 mixers puts you fully in charge.
Choose from 3 different modes of operation for the headphone outputs that best suit your headphones – Standard, High Sensitivity or High Impedance. Or, you can choose to re-purpose each HP output as a balanced/unbalanced mono output.
The 3 front panel switches come pre-assigned to CUT for the monitors, ALT speaker switching and TALKBACK mic engage/disengage but you can choose to change these buttons to any of the following functions to suit your needs - DIM, CUT, MONO SUM, ALT, INVERT PHASE LEFT, TALKBACK.
