This is a practical, technical, hands-on role suited to someone with a genuine interest in model or kit building, mechanics, electronics or technology. You'll work to a high standard, follow precise instructions and specifications, and take real pride in the quality of your work. Full training is provided – what matters most is your dexterity, attention to detail and can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and repairing production units and field returns to board level, in line with company standards, procedures and specifications.
  • Carrying out mechanical assembly and wiring of production units.
  • Logically analysing and solving technical problems as they arise.
  • Helping maintain a safe, organised and professional working environment.

Key qualifications and capabilities:

  • Background in mechanical assembly, wiring, PCB assembly or technical test/repair.
  • Either an ONC/NVQ/HNC, or at least 1 year's proven experience in a similar technical role, or demonstrable hobbyist experience.
  • A high degree of practical, hands-on skill.
  • GCSE Grade C (or above) in Maths and English.
  • Basic PC application knowledge – Windows, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • An interest in technology, electronics or audio mixing.
