Soundscape Upgrades
A range of options will be available for existing Soundscape owners to Upgrade to Soundscape V6.
Upgrade Eligibility
- This Upgrade scheme will be available to all users of:
- a) Valid (non upgraded) Mixtreme/Mixtreme 192 cards
- b) Valid (non upgraded) Mixpander 5/9 Power Packs (or SSL Mixpander 5 cards)
- c) Valid (non upgraded) Users of any Soundscape System: SSHDR1, SSHDR1+, R.Ed16/24/32 and SS16/32 Systems
To quality for an Upgrade you will need to provide us with evidence of your existing Soudscape system ownership by registering your system in your SSL User Profile. During registration you will need to provide the Unique ID Number (formerly called DSP SN) for your hardware unit. The registration facility will become available when Soundscape V6 ships (currently scheduled for May 2010).
Upgrade Bundles
All Soundscape upgrade bundles will be available exclusively from the SSL web shop. They will not be available from third party Distributors or Retailers. The following packages will be available;
Note; the SSL Console Plug-in Bundle is already included with MX4.
Soundscape V6 Software Only
Owners of MX4 or Mixpander cards will be able to purchase a Software only upgrade. This will include the Soundscape DAW Software but will not include the SSL Console Plug-in Bundle.
Soundscape V6 Software and SSL Console Plug-in Bundle
Owners of Mixpander cards will be able to purchase a combination of the Soundscape DAW Software and the SSL Console Plug-in Bundle. The SSL Console Plug-in Bundle includes the SSL Channel EQ, SSL Channel Dynamics and SSL Stereo Bus Compressor plug-ins.
MX4 Card and Soundscape V6 Software
Owners of any eligible legacy Soundscape hardware system will be able to purchase a combination of an MX4 card and the Soundscape DAW Software.
MX4 Card + 1 x XLogic Alpha-Link + Soundscape V6 Software
Owners of any eligible legacy Soundscape hardware system will be able to purchase a combination of an MX4 card, the Soundscape DAW Software and one XLogic Alpha-Link Audio Converter. Alpha-Link units available will be; Alpha-Link MADI AX, Alpha-Link MADI SX, Alpha-Link MADI TX (TX is the new TDIF version of Alpha-Link and it is due to ship in June 2010).
MX4 Card + 2 x XLogic Alpha-Link + Soundscape V6 Software
Owners of any eligible legacy Soundscape hardware system will be able to purchase a combination of an MX4 card, the Soundscape DAW Software and one XLogic Alpha-Link Audio Converter. Alpha-Link units available will be; Alpha-Link MADI AX, Alpha-Link MADI SX, Alpha-Link MADI TX (TX is the new TDIF version of Alpha-Link and it is due to ship in June 2010).
