A wide range of products are available ensuring that the system matches both your technical and budgetary requirements. SSL I/O connects using MADI over fibre-optic cable, protecting the audio from interference and degradation so that it reaches the console in pristine condition, even in the harshest environments. Control data embedded in the fibre-optic cabling enables remote control of IO parameters (such as analogue pre-amps) from the console, as well as SNMP diagnostics.
BRIO – modular local I/O
BRIO is a 7U modular rack chassis with capacity for 5 audio cards, mixed and matched to provide the number of Mic, Line and AES/EBU inputs and outputs you require, providing up to 256 channels of local IO.
MORSE Stagebox – modular remote I/O
The MORSE Stagebox is modular rack unit designed to handle your studio floor feeds, offering up to 56 channels of IO in a 3U chassis. There is a wide range of audio I/O available to fit your precise requirements, including Analogue Mic/Line & AES. SDI Embedder/De-embedder cards are also available in both SD and HD formats for machine room integration.
Alpha-Link LIVE-R – fixed configuration I/O
Alpha-Link LIVE-R is a fixed configuration 2U stand-alone audio converter that can be specified as low cost console I/O. It provides bi-directional conversion between 64ch MADI fibre I/O, 24ch line level analogue and 24ch AES3 digital I/O… simultaneously.
Alpha-Link 8RMP – fixed configuration remote 8 way mic pre
The Alpha-Link 8RMP is a fixed configuration 2U 8ch mic pre to 8ch analogue line converter. 8RMP connects to an Alpha-Link Live and can be remotely controlled by the C100 via the Alpha-Link Live MADI fibre cabling.
Remote GPIO – additional GPIO capacity wherever you need it
The SSL remote GP IO is a 1U rack mounted chassis and can be ordered as two versions to provide either 24 or 48 channels of additional GP input and output connected to the console network via Ethernet.
SDI-MADI is a cost-effective solution to the problem of connecting audio equipment to the SDI-based infrastructure. SDI-MADI is a 1U unit which extracts up to 16 audio channels from each of the unit’s four SDI inputs to provide a total of up to 64 audio channels in both MADI (AES10id-2008) and AES3 (AES3-1992) formats.
The ‘MADI Opti-Coax’ is a handy ‘in line’ format converter box designed to convert up to 64 audio channels bi-directionally (64 IN & 64 OUT) between the MADI Optical and MADI Coaxial formats.
